I discovered it by chance last year, and it was a very pleasant surprise. I returned again this year and it confirmed the quality of the gluten-free foods and the kindness of the staff. They are very attentive to intolerances as they are AIC certified, and they have 3 menus, one dedicated to vegans as well.

Tried last night, all the dishes are available gluten-free as well. The food is delicious (it almost didn’t seem gluten-free), the staff is very helpful and kind. The place is a gem in the fortress of Castiglione della Pescaglia.

We dined at this restaurant every evening during our vacation in Castiglione della Pescaia. We found it due to the necessity for a gluten-free menu, but we returned for the entire menu! Truly a paradise for those with celiac disease! Besides the rich menu, there were also delicious off-menu proposals every day. We tasted almost everything and were never disappointed. Of course, my husband, who is not celiac, was also super satisfied. Excellent value for money. The staff was very helpful and friendly! It's better to make a reservation, given what I've written, I don't think it's hard to imagine that it is often full, even with two shifts.

A restaurant I have been visiting for a long time, and I have always appreciated the level of service, including the valuable presence of the reception that provides assistance during the booking and entry into the restaurant without distracting the dining staff. The fish dishes and specialties of Maremma are a delicacy. Another important aspect is that it is an organized venue to serve gluten-free dishes, allowing celiac individuals to enjoy exquisite meals. Preparation is necessary, and I inform you that the restaurant, being inside the castle walls, is only accessible on foot, so I recommend comfortable shoes for the ladies.

Sunday lunch with my girlfriend at this wonderful restaurant. It's rare to see such a meticulous attention to the customer. Politeness, attention to detail, and a touch of friendliness that makes you enjoy every aspect of a meal, topped off by the excellent quality of the food. Not heavy at all and super tasty. Beautiful place that respects the tradition of the medieval village in its appearance. The girl at the reception was very kind; upon our arrival, she offered us a prosecco while we waited for our table to be prepared. Customer attention is evident from the fact that in addition to the regular menu, there is a section dedicated to coeliacs and another dedicated to vegetarians/vegans. Our vegan friend really appreciated that! The portions are abundant and very good; we had panzanella with tuna - off the menu, it's excellent!! - fried fish, and pasta with clams. The vegan offering was also highly appreciated with a very good zucchini parmigiana. Prices are reasonable... Absolutely recommended for the quality of food and atmosphere!

Situated within the walls of the Castle, we dined inside. Very kind and courteous staff, excellent location, great value for money. Wide choice for the gluten-free menu. The tuna steak with pesto was delicious... All the fish dishes we chose were very good and well cooked. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

By now, it's a regular stop every time we pass through Castiglione, a characteristic place within the walls of the historic center, impeccable service for both the little ones (served first and entertained with coloring drawings) and for those who are gluten intolerant "like us" with typical dishes from both land and sea. For those who are not celiac, they can indulge in fantastic dishes and delicious desserts. The restaurant has the option of having seats inside with various rooms, as well as seating outside. Price is in the range of a good restaurant, parking: outside the city center I've always found a spot around the cemetery area. I recommend it for those who want to spend an evening in a characteristic setting with a visit to the village after dinner.

The fortress is a welcoming and beautiful restaurant. The food is truly good. Upon entering a medieval castle, one enjoys typical Tuscan dishes, both meat and fish. The menu is very wide and there are entire pages dedicated to celiacs. The service is fast and the waiters are friendly and kind. I absolutely recommend it.

I am extremely objective. Generally, if a place does not deserve it, I write it. Fantastic place from an architectural point of view. All the staff are very kind, quick, friendly, and professional. The food is very good, abundant from appetizers to dessert. Together with a Tyrolean restaurant, it is the only one I've ever seen with a truly cutting-edge gluten-free menu that is as good as the 'normal' menu. In short, I really can't understand any reviews lower than 4 stars. Really a top restaurant, with an excellent quality/price ratio in a fantastic location. In the 4 Restaurants program, it would surely win in Castiglione.
