not suitable for celiacs as they cook gluten-free pizza alongside those with gluten

Menu with only gluten-free pizza. Margherita pizza for my tastes had too much oil on top. I couldn’t finish it.

Very good pizza, risk of contamination very high

Pizzeria with gluten-free option just steps away from the main Bra square.

Great gluten-free pizza but the risk of contamination is quite high since the same oven is used, and the only precaution is the use of an aluminum tray.

Very good pizza, and gluten-free pizza among the best I’ve ever eaten (even though it's made in a shared oven, so it's contaminated), which I didn't expect in such a touristy place so close to the arena. Prices are a bit high, but normal for the location.

A Neapolitan pizza in the heart of Verona, with a view of the Arena. You wouldn't expect such good pizza in such a central location, yet at Peperino, you won't be disappointed! Very good ingredients that I have no doubt come directly from Campania; many dough options, in addition to the traditional one, among which I highly recommend the 100% whole grain version. Attention is also given to gluten-free customers with gluten-free options and to lactose-intolerant individuals with lactose-free mozzarella. Lastly, the cooking of the pizza was perfect! The venue is simple and welcoming, with a lovely outdoor area that I recommend taking advantage of on warm evenings. The price is more than fair, considering the quality and portion.

We were passing through Verona for just one evening and were recommended this pizzeria. We were amazed!!! We enjoyed a delicious Neapolitan pizza, served in 10 minutes and just a stone's throw from the arena. Impeccable service with coffee and a final dessert. Different types of dough including gluten-free. We can’t wait to return. Absolutely recommended!!!

It is just a stone's throw from the Arena. A nice place with a varied menu and true Neapolitan specialties. I ordered a gluten-free pizza but they do not guarantee that there is no contamination. The pizza was good but could be improved. The meat was excellent.

We returned on Saturday evening, the pizza is either very good or undercooked or burnt; if you're lucky, yours is very good. The gluten-free one didn't turn out well this time. The pizza is quite expensive, especially if you're not one of the lucky ones who gets it cooked just right. Let's not even talk about the desserts; we ordered the lemon delight, which was average, then they served a sauce on the side made from some red fruit that doesn't seem to match well. If the delight is made with good lemons, I don't see why they should be masked. The service was not up to par; 2 out of 3 waiters don't understand Italian very well and come multiple times to ask if you've ordered this or that. We tried to make a reservation even in August and they told us that for large groups (6 people) they do not accept reservations; then in September we booked for 8... I'll let you imagine why.

I had dinner at this place a few days ago and I must say I really enjoyed myself. The venue is very welcoming, thanks to the friendly atmosphere (you can immediately tell that the owners are from Southern Italy; it’s no coincidence that several patrons were also from the south, as they probably feel much more at ease here than in a trendy place just a few steps away). The menu is varied; we ordered pizzas and meat. The pizzas were good, although one out of the six was slightly undercooked, making it a bit rubbery. My pizza with 'nduja was fantastic! I could also taste a bit of the meat that one of my friends ordered, and it was like butter, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. I will definitely return for a nice plate of meat next time. The tables are in a rustic style and can be arranged as needed, so I think it’s possible to reserve a large one for up to 30 people. There’s also an outdoor area overlooking the arena that can accommodate about twenty people. They also prepare pizza in aluminum containers for gluten-free dough for celiacs; for those who are very intolerant, I recommend caution because there’s only one oven, and cross-contamination could occur through the air during cooking. The price is really excellent, considering the location of the venue. Highly recommended!
