Locale divided into two areas: one dedicated to the sale of packaged products in a specialized food style, very well-stocked, and the other is a pastry shop with homemade products. Wide selection and good quality. Some tables allow consumption on-site...just like at the bar! And yes, because for us celiacs it's almost a dream to have a normal breakfast at a bar in complete safety. Here, you can...and you can do it with taste! Traditional and revised brioche, fruit baskets and creams, pastries and cookies. A reference in Turin for gluten-free, highly recommended.

A nice place divided into a pastry bar and a small market with organic and gluten-free products. Attentive and professional service with quality products and good variety. Prices are generally high.

Today, while passing through Piazza Sofia, a girl and I, along with some other people (including a child), decided to go to this bar for a quick grab of two pastries to eat while walking to catch the bus. We entered, and of course, I greeted the blonde cashier who was eating by the counter. She looked at me very seriously and after a couple of seconds, she greeted me back; I pretended nothing happened and began to choose the sweets to take with us. Another cashier (male) asked if we had made our choice, and I told him we were still deciding (he was very professional and quite kind). As soon as we decided, we turned to the brunette cashier, but she was serving other customers, so we waited until the boy, who had just finished with the other clients, was available to help us. I stated our choice and asked if it could be packed to take away. When the boy placed everything on the counter, I turned around and saw that the child (who was with us) had removed some fabric stars attached to the counter. The brunette cashier said, "Oh, she took all the decorations off." I replied, "I apologize. But can they be reattached?" She said no and that it was nothing. This brunette cashier went behind the counter while talking to a customer (probably her friend), saw the sweets we had chosen still to be wrapped, and began to wrap them. We had already paid; we were just waiting to get the sweets to leave, but since this brunette cashier was engrossed in her conversation with the other client/friend, she kept stopping with her hands in the air while holding pieces of tape, standing still for several tens of seconds at a time. After a full five minutes of waiting after already paying, with the child now getting restless and starting to throw tantrums, we became impatient and asked the blonde cashier if they could hurry up because we needed to catch the bus. She, unsure of what to do, told her colleague what we had just asked, and the colleague, all upset, responded very poorly by saying, "I’m wrapping; I only have two hands!" (even though she wasn’t using her two hands because she was too occupied with the conversation with her friend). When she finally finished, she handed us the bag with the sweets, appearing a bit annoyed, while muttering something at a tone too low to be heard from the other side of the counter, continuing as we left the place with her friend/customer. This was despite the fact that she was the one who messed up in the end, choosing to have a leisurely chat during work, showing not the slightest respect that should be shown to customers but especially to anyone else.

This place has been a discovery! Great if you have intolerances or allergies, as there really is everything... but also for those who have no allergies but want to have a healthy, delicious breakfast... worth trying.

The staff available is very well stocked. The Bar offers desserts of the highest quality and coffee that meets the occasion. The quality of the products makes you forget about the prices, which are obviously significantly higher.

I tasted their gluten-free pastry for the first time 🥐 croissant, what can I say? FA VO LO SI … really excellent, plus my partner also bought fresh bread and focaccia this morning, obviously always gluten-free, all excellent. I will definitely go for lunch on-site and savor other gluten-free delicacies. Well done 👏🏻

Beautiful shop, stocked with everything, able to meet every need, a lot of new items, very fresh pastries and delicacies. I highly recommend it to everyone, even those who are not celiac.

Finally, the Gluten-Free I have always dreamed of. Fantastic breakfast, my favorites are the super soft croissants filled with whatever you like most, jam, Nutella, pastry cream. And then fantastic cakes and much more. Well done👍

Worst breakfast of my life, we ordered three things and they were worse than the last. Not even the courtesy to ask if there was something wrong. Besides the poor quality, there was zero courtesy from the staff. I will never set foot there again, be careful, risk of indigestion.

Terrible breakfast, I had previously tried gluten-free pastries and was pleasantly surprised, but this time I was really disappointed, croissants were undercooked and very very heavy. Negative experience.

#GLUTENFREE 1 PIAZZA SOFIA TORINO North Great gluten-free breakfast!!☕🥐❤ Just look at the photos to understand what I mean!!! Well-stocked bar with many sweet and savory products. Next to the bar, connected, a market with everything you might need. If you get the chance, try the gluten-free bugie during Carnival: so delicious!! I went back to enjoy the very tasty brioche; it’s really worth it, even though the area is in North Turin and a bit busy. We found parking quite easily, even if Piazza Sofia is high traffic.

The Illy café is clean and tidy, almost out of place in Piazza Sofia, good! But the pastry was at least from yesterday (dry and with modest filling) and it doesn't justify the price I paid.

Recently renovated establishment.... Wide selection and availability of fresh pastries and a bar point.

Great treats. An ideal place for a coffee break, breakfast, or snack.

Friendly staff, well-maintained showcase, and many products of dry and fresh pastries, bread, brioches, and much more.

It has been 5 years since I discovered I am celiac and I buy from them; they have a vast assortment, practically they have everything. Recently, they expanded by opening a café where there is fresh pastry, both sweet and savory. Everything is truly excellent. The croissant is out of this world, it melts in your mouth, with a unique goodness that I have never found since becoming celiac. My sincerest compliments to the owners. I wish you all the best because you deserve it. Best wishes with all my heart!
