'Il Melarancio' is a venue located in the heart of Rome, near Piazza del Popolo, offering a fully replicable menu in gluten-free version, including homemade desserts. The food is generally appreciated and the staff is attentive and helpful, with careful service. It can be a bit pricey, but the central location partly justifies the prices.

delicious gluten-free food. I had a delicious and creamy gracias and some straccetti accompanied by a very good and fragrant focaccia. The gluten-free food is served on plates of different colors with maximum attention. The staff is very kind and friendly!

very nice place, very kind staff (there's a need for more waiters like this in restaurants). The gluten-free pizza is very good

Low quality pizzas. Outdated venue and chairs are on a slope outside. They say that the pizzas are prepared by a workshop.
5
Truly exceptional gluten-free fresh pasta that can be paired with any recipe. Attention to service and really well-prepared staff.

A stone's throw from Piazza del Popolo. The entire menu can be replicated in a gluten-free version. We had a pizza, good but not exceptional, perhaps a bit overcooked. Attentive and helpful staff.

Fresh gluten-free pasta made by them is excellent. Elegant and relaxing environment.

To call it a theft would be a compliment! As can be seen from the bill. To be avoided at all costs. Prices out of control (not listed on the menu) for food worthy of a low-level trattoria. One of the people with us asked for gluten-free food, the owner assured her that she would eat gluten-free, and instead, she was about to end up in the emergency room. The food is bad, and you pay a lot, avoid it!

Situated behind Piazza del Popolo, in a quiet little street not very crowded with a small outdoor seating area. Menu with typically Roman dishes and more. Great thing is the menu is entirely gluten-free convertible... Pasta is very good and abundant, desserts could be improved. Overall, a nice place.

In the heart of the Historic Center, Roman tradition merges with a fresh and modern touch. The authentic hospitality makes you feel at home right away, even in one of the busiest areas of Rome, pampered by the attention of the staff and away from the tourist traps, unfortunately not rare in that area. Whether you choose a traditional first course, opt for the finest meats from the historic butcher Annibale, or indulge in a seafood delight, you won't be disappointed! The variety of gluten-free and lactose-free options makes Melarancio the ideal place to meet everyone's needs without sacrificing taste. Highly recommended!

Optimal location. Good gluten-free food, especially well presented.

On the occasion of my birthday, I had lunch at Melarancio with my daughter who is celiac. We had a great time! Cozy, family-friendly environment, but definitely professional. Dishes were well-presented, enjoyable, with an excellent choice of gluten-free options. We have never encountered fresh gluten-free pasta in various formats. Great quality-to-price ratio. Highly recommended also for the quality of the food.

We had lunch at this restaurant because we had read about the possibility of gluten-free dishes. The gluten-free carbonara was good but a bit too salty, while the Roman-style artichokes were truly excellent.
5
Great place near Piazza del Popolo. For the appetizer, I tried the Roman artichoke and for the first course, pasta alla carbonara; I found both exquisite. Highly recommended place, even for celiacs.

A venue right in the city center, just a stone's throw from Piazza del Popolo, extremely suitable for gluten-free options, both with fresh bread and pasta that are not pre-packaged. The portions are generous and the service is good, with very friendly waiters. The prices for the main courses are fair, but a bit too high for the appetizers. Highly recommended are the typical dishes of Roman tradition as well as the gluten-free bruschetta and Roman-style artichokes.

It is a small restaurant near Piazza del Popolo on Via del Corso, with a wide selection of dishes from meat to fish. We went there because my nephew is celiac and received exceptional treatment; the first courses are all offered in a gluten-free handmade solution. We returned even the following evening. Prices are naturally tied to the location, with truly exceptional service, but nothing out of this world. I highly recommend it, it's worth the price.

Good food, attentive service, many dishes also gluten-free. Prices maybe a bit high, understandable because it's a central and a bit touristy area.
5
Everything very good (even gluten-free). You must try the fried small octopuses. Professional staff. Very friendly and efficient service. Recommended!

Good gluten-free pasta, decent service, definitely high prices. A bottle of water costs €4.50.

Scandalous pizza, frozen ones are a hundred times better, good only for tourists. Gluten-free fresh carbonara pasta was quite good. Very high prices for what they offer, we didn't order anything else.
