La Carovana is an ancient farmhouse in Portuense and is also organized for significant events such as weddings and more. It hosts numerous courses for chefs who want to learn gluten-free cooking. As a celiac, I tried it and recommend visiting because every dish on the menu, and I mean EVERY one, can be ordered in a gluten-free version. That day I wanted to eat fish and ordered fish balls and fried fish, and everything was excellent. I can't wait to return to try other dishes. The cuisine is excellent, even the regular one; the portions are quite generous. The kindness and professionalism of the waiters were another highlight of the place, along with the beautiful outdoor garden where we ate.

Huge, beautiful outdoor spaces suitable for receptions. The staff is very polite and well-trained, and the service times are very good. The quality of the dishes is high, and they also have good wines. I go there occasionally with my father, a retiree who is very demanding about food, and we have always had a good experience. Last time we had two spaghetti with clams, a bottle of wine (if I remember correctly, Chardonnay), and a sole for two with a side of potatoes (first fish dish, second fish dish, side for two + wine), and we spent €80. Wide choice of dishes for lactose intolerant customers and attentive staff to these types of needs. For me, it's a thumbs up.

A charming place where you least expect it, I dined outdoors with a group of friends surrounded by majestic olive trees, impeccable service, high-quality food, also catering for those with celiac disease, prices are average, I greatly appreciated the ample parking available for customers free of charge. I will return often even though I live far away as I had one of the best pizzas ever. The only negative note in this triumph of positive reviews is the presence of mozzarella in carrozza on the menu which unfortunately they no longer make.

The venue is located in a farmhouse surrounded by a vast garden, with a very pleasant atmosphere, and a wide availability of tables both outdoors and indoors. First courses, typical of Roman cuisine, and second courses both from land and sea are recommended. The pizza, served only for dinner, is not of the same quality. Almost all dishes can be prepared gluten-free. Sometimes a bit of waiting is required, but the staff is generally friendly. Prices are average. Although there is a small internal parking lot, especially in the evening, it is difficult to find a spot nearby; moreover, it is not easily reachable by public transport.

Large and welcoming environment, excellent and plentiful cuisine with gluten-free options. Friendly and approachable staff. I have been there twice and have always left very satisfied. I will return soon because I also want to try the pizza.

A place that features 70s-80s decor, more suitable for weddings, ceremonies, and events. It has a nice garden, and in summer, it's pleasant to eat outside under the olive trees. The food on the pizzeria side is good with reasonable prices; the restaurant part is a little better. It's worth mentioning they offer gluten-free options, which is not bad at all... However, when there are large groups, we've noticed that the kitchen gets a bit overwhelmed, leading to long waits. Overall, it's manageable.
