Starbene Senza Glutine Lucca offers a variety of gluten-free products, both sweet and savory, just outside the city walls, with attentive and friendly staff. The almond cantucci and desserts like millefoglie are particularly appreciated. A bit pricey, but very good.

very good food, tasty, wide variety of foods... everything well organized and clean

Everything is very good, but the prices for fresh products are too high; otherwise, excellent.

I discovered this place by buying their products at a grocery store in Pisa. Whenever I'm in the area for work, I stop by to stock up on their fresh products. The focaccias and bread are delicious, and the owners are really kind 😊

great choice of fresh, both sweet and savory, attentive and friendly staff. recommended

We took a bit of everything, both sweet and savory. Since we are not from Lucca, everything was fantastic, and the cake... a dream.

Spectacular discovery!! I tasted many products all at once thanks to the kindness of the lady who prepared a takeaway tray with many samples: everything was super good!! Well done!

The staff is very nice and helpful, as soon as I entered I was very impressed by the variety of products. I took a braid with chocolate drops for breakfast. They suggested I have breakfast at the bar across the street that allows bringing gluten-free food. After breakfast, I went back to get another braid because it was too good. I also took other amazing products.

Exceptional gluten-free bakery, I tried the panzerotto, pizza, focaccia, everything was fantastic! For dessert, we had the cream puffs, croissants, and braided pastry with chocolate chips, all excellent! Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommended, if I return to this area, I'll definitely stop by! Congratulations!

Really exceptional gluten-free fresh products! Absolutely recommended.

Excellent products for those with various food intolerances! Delicious sweet and savory items. See you next time.

We went both to get a quick takeout lunch and to grab a pistachio brioche. A paradise for celiacs! They don't have seating, but for breakfast, you can go to the bakery around the corner. Friendly and courteous staff. We also tried the margherita pizza, the olive one, and a whole wheat focaccia stuffed. Everything was delicious!

If you are looking for a place to indulge in some culinary treats, then this Gluten-Free store is just what you need. The environment is very spacious, clean, and has a warmth conveyed by the wonderful owners. The Gluten-Free products are made right there with excellent quality. The quality to price ratio is fair. There is the possibility to purchase fresh products using the health card for those who have vouchers for purchasing gluten-free products. Absolutely recommended and endorsed.

They are now my lifeline during Lucca Comics, as they are embarrassingly behind and disorganized when it comes to offering gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives. The place is very clean and well-organized, with a rich variety of fresh, high-quality products, ranging from savory to sweet! I had a very good stuffed sandwich and a piece of fried dough that was AMAZING! Here you can also use coupons with your health card. They also have various well-organized packaged products of different kinds. The staff is friendly and welcoming, down-to-earth, and possesses a rare kindness these days. Thank you again for saving me from fasting this year ❤️

You are 10 minutes on foot from the center, just a few steps from the walls. You will find 100% gluten-free options, with lactose-free and vegan alternatives (of course gluten-free). There are many fresh products, both sweet and savory: focaccia, pizza, pastries, cookies, bread, brioche, as well as packaged products and refreshing drinks. And the ladies are super friendly and always kind and helpful. They changed management in 2020, so don't pay attention to the old reviews.

I am from Liguria and for hospital reasons, I often find myself in Pisa. As soon as I can, I go to Lucca to stock up in this gluten-free store where you can find fresh and definitely excellent delights, along with the courtesy and friendliness of the owners. Here you find taste, charm, goodness, friendliness, quality, and everything that makes food a true pleasure. I absolutely love it!! Highly recommended.

I have only been there once but it left a beautiful memory! It was the first time in a long time that I could eat fresh gluten-free and lactose-free pastries! The same goes for the savory! It was a revelation! I will definitely go back at the next Lucca Comics!

For my mom's birthday, I ordered a cake for us celiacs... stunning!!! Beautiful and... super delicious, I recommend everyone to experience this taste adventure. Thank you😍

The rating is negative because unlike other places where the fresh food is really fresh, I paid a price above market rates for two tiny focaccias, and in the end they weren't even fresh.

I arrived at this venue expecting it to be open, as Google indicated it was open, but to my deep regret, I found it closed for holidays without updating the website or other maps regarding its closure. I ask why not do it??? Especially out of respect for people with intolerances, for whom it is increasingly difficult to find gluten-free places... Therefore, my review is negative due to the lack of respect, which I believe is more detrimental. Best regards and enjoy your holidays.

Cozy and relaxing place. Well connected to other tourist cities.

I bought pistachio and hazelnut cream puffs for a friend who can't eat gluten anymore. She told me that the taste is the same as those with gluten; I suppose it was a compliment. Well stocked and very helpful staff. Perhaps the prices are a bit high, but I won't comment because I'm not familiar with gluten-free prices.

A store where you can make those people happy who cannot find the things they need.

The new managers are very helpful. The store is worth it.

Normal products but high prices! For a square of pizza, 4 euros!
3
The shop is located just outside the city walls. When I visited this place, they were about to close, so there wasn't much choice. I had a slice of pizza and a piece of cheese and ham quiche, kindly warmed up by the owner. Both products I tasted were quite good but rather expensive in my opinion; I paid a total of 10 euros.

You can safely buy gluten-free products. Fresh bakery and pastry. The owners are very kind and always know how to give you very helpful advice on everything.

To buy here you need a mortgage: a small piece of pizza, 1 piece of 200g focaccia, and 2 small cream puffs total €12. I can understand that the cost of gluten-free flours is higher, but it’s not gold! This is armed robbery!

I bought a round focaccia weighing half a kilo and a half-kilo loaf of bread, and I spent 21 euros, 20 with a discount. It seems absurd to me, especially considering that they were stale, and particularly the focaccia was rock-hard if I hadn't warmed it up... I won't go back again.

A paradise on Earth for those who are gluten intolerant and more 🔝🔝🔝
