welcoming venue and very kind and attentive staff regarding gluten-free options. As for the menu, nothing to say, everything is completely good, adaptable to gluten-free!

gluten-free pizza is excellent just like the fried fish!

I was the one who convinced the family to go to Vecchio Frantoio: I had read that it was AIC certified, and for me this makes a difference. Well, it was a great choice. The place is beautiful, with a postcard-like panoramic terrace and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s even parking, although it's for experienced drivers. I went for the Angus fillet, but I didn’t stop there: I also 'tasted' my sister's and father's huge Florentina, so technically there was plenty left, right? Mom ordered grilled vegetables and cheese; I didn’t contribute there, but I saw them enjoy it. First, a board with cold cuts and typical cheeses opened the dinner wonderfully as an appetizer. All dishes gluten-free. My parents enjoyed everything with a glass of Bolgheri DOC, while we enjoyed the sunset together. True, I saw it with my own eyes: it’s a sunset over the sea with a fairy-tale view of the Etruscan coast. Returning to the food, the portions (excluding Florentina) are not abundant, but the taste is concentrated in every bite: precise and defined. Desserts are equally delicious and refined. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic place, attentive to gluten-free options, and with a view that stays in your eyes.

The restaurant is located just as you enter the village, convenient because it also has parking, stunning view. The menu offers typical and simple but tasty dishes with gluten-free options for most. We had 3 first courses including a risotto for our son who is celiac (they also had other gluten-free first courses available for an additional charge of €2) and finished with a gluten-free cheesecake (very good), cantucci and vin santo, a bottle of wine, water, and coffee, the bill was a bit higher compared to other places we've been to but overall we felt good. I recommend it mainly for the variety of gluten-free products and the panoramic view.

It was in 2023 and I liked it; I returned in 2025 and noticed a decline. I hope it was just a bad day for the chef. Anyway, AIC certified.

welcoming and typical locale, with a view of the sunset. Very good gluten-free tortelli, as well as the meat and also the desserts. Staff very attentive to gluten issues and contamination. AIC certified restaurant

Stunning location at sunset. Both a restaurant and a pizzeria. Pizza with a medium base.

Nothing to say about the quality of the food, but what will prevent me from coming back here and not giving 5 ⭐️ is the quality of the service. We were informed of the absence of a dish after it had been ordered, which is already unprofessional. Therefore, I opted for a tagliata that was served almost cold and without a hot plate. I repeat, the quality of the meat was excellent, as was the quality of the wine, served at €12 a glass (nothing to say, it was really great!), but unfortunately, the service did not match the food and the location. 🤷🏽♀️ Likewise, the dessert we chose was no longer available, even though the place was not even full. To mention, the entire menu, except for one dish and some desserts, can be made gluten-free.
