If you are celiac, this is definitely a place you cannot miss. AIC certified venue. Dishes all have generous portions (especially the fried fish). The fried fish is delicious, light, and crunchy, one of the best I've ever had. The owners are super friendly and hospitable. Wide selection of very good and unique gluten-free beers. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

From the owner: Osteria La Gallina Che Fuma is located in Verbania and welcomes its customers in a small yet hospitable and warm environment, just like all the staff who work there. The osteria is characterized by homemade cooking with meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan options, and almost all dishes are available in gluten-free versions. Certified AIC venue. Everything is prepared with fresh and genuine raw materials. Bread, sweets, and grissini are made in-house. Osteria La Gallina Che Fuma is equipped for children, not only with high chairs and changing tables, but also with a specific menu. It is possible to organize banquets for birthday parties, first communions, baptisms, and corporate dinners.

A true gem in the Verbano area, reservation is recommended. The owners are Sicilian and make you feel at home right away, very friendly and well-prepared staff. The food is truly excellent and there is a lot of attention to detail. The place is small but well organized and, above all, very clean. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner as well. The prices are normal and affordable. A truly positive experience, highly recommended place.
