We had lunch at the Diomedee restaurant because my partner is celiac and we found the restaurant affiliated with the AIC circuit. Upon arrival, we noticed the usual AIC stickers from previous years and were escorted by the waiter. Once seated at the table and looking at the menu, we realized there were very few gluten-free options (with allergen numbers indicated). My partner decided to order a seafood risotto, naturally gluten-free. In response to the gluten-free request, the waiter, in an annoyed tone, informed us that everything was now contaminated, from the first courses to the grilled second courses, and that we should have booked in advance. After another request, he decided to consult with the chef, saying that "for this time a gluten-free dish will be prepared, but next time we will necessarily need to book." Beyond the fact that it seems completely insane to me that a place displaying the AIC symbol, which according to regulations should follow a specific protocol, refuses to prepare gluten-free dishes unless booked in advance—and we're not even talking about elaborate dishes specifically prepared with gluten-free flours or alternatives, but a simple risotto, naturally gluten-free—this contradicts the AFC standard: if you are an adhering venue, you must always be ready to safely serve a celiac customer. Furthermore, AIC stickers are valid for one year. Each year, a renewal of training, checks, and the agreement is carried out. If a venue does not renew, it can no longer present itself as part of the network and should not display stickers from previous years, as this creates confusion and false security for celiac customers. Displaying old stickers is unfair and can be considered misleading advertising. Additionally, I would like to point out, beyond the very important issue of gluten-free options, that when I requested orecchiette with turnip tops without anchovies if they were present, the waiter responded rudely that this was not possible since they were already in the turnip tops. Accepting the response without the tone, I decided to have penne all’arrabbiata, which was served to me shortly after with a criminal amount of oil. To top it off, at the time of the bill, the waiter who had been following us had marked other orders from another table on ours, adding them to the total. In conclusion, I highly advise against this place! I feel very sorry for the girls on the staff, who, although they did not serve our table directly, seemed very friendly.

You have to notify them 1 day in advance; otherwise, they won't provide food. A beach restaurant should be a support for us celiacs, but it is not the case.

Il villaggio le Diomedee non ha bisogno di recensioni perché dare 5 stelle a questo splendido camping è veramente poco. Villaggio direttamente sul mare con una grande pineta x roulotte, camper e tende, gestito in modo impeccabile da persone qualificato, preparato e gentilissimo. Ottimo supermarket interno con prezzi contenuti. Inoltre il villaggio è provvisto di un ristorante dove su prenotazione puoi mangiare anche prodotti senza glutine. Provvisto di animazione x grandi e bambini e una grande piscina. Insomma qui puoi sentirti veramente in Vacanza.

Sono più di 20 anni che trascorro le vacanze alle diomedee, e anche se ho visitato altri villaggi ogni anno ritorno perché non trovo di meglio , i bungalow sono di varie grandezze e prezzi , le piazzole splendide ,ombreggiate e con vista mare. Il villaggio è situato direttamente sul mare ed è ben servito , all'interno c'è un ristorante sulla spiaggia ( indicato anche per celiaci in quanto fa parte del circuito AIC ed è tutto particolarmente buono) , poi c'è un market interno ben assortito e piscina con bar e campo di tennis. Appena fuori dal villaggio ci sono due market di cui uno carrefour, e 1 parafarmacia e 1 farmacia, tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Inoltre quest'anno abbiamo trovato particolarmente gradita l'animazione e gli spettacoli degli ospiti esterni. Il capo animatore Hector e l'animatrice Nicole, spiccano rispetto al gruppo in quanto sono molto piacevoli , divertenti ma mai invadenti , erano anni che la blue animation team non mandava animatori così, gli spettacoli sono molto carini e divertenti. il mini club, finalmente fantastico ogni giorno un lavoretto diverso, personalmente speriamo di ritrovarli l'anno prossimo, (altrimenti chi la sente mia figlia ahahah)la loro compagnia è davvero piacevole e lavorano dalla mattina alla sera senza stancarsi mai. L'unica cosa che ho notato quest'anno è che nel villaggio sono presenti troppi cani e spesso in spiaggia c'è un orchestra che nemmeno si immagina, ma soprattutto il più delle volte non li portano a guinzaglio e con i bambini diventa un problema , forse consiglierei di limitare l'ingresso degli animali ad un numero max , purtroppo non tutti i padroni sanno ben gestire i propri amici pelosi.
