The boy at the counter was very good at handling my request for a gluten-free cone and dairy-free ice cream. He changed his gloves and informed me about possible contaminations. Unfortunately, the experience was completely negative and ruined by the owner at the cash register, who charged me €3.20 for the gluten-free cone instead of the €3 as stated on the price list. Clearly, 20 cents is not a big deal, but it's a matter of principle: when you display a price, by law you must charge the displayed price, period. If you charge a different price at the register, that's a problem. When the customer kindly points it out and you continue to say it's not true or pretend not to know, that’s a problem. This is not the right way to interact with the public and maintain customer trust. A good business person wouldn't just remove the unjustified 20 cents but would even offer a discount to apologize for the bad impression. This would leave the customer with a good impression and foster loyalty. Unfortunately, in Palermo, it seems this approach is non-existent and this is how customers are lost, leaving only the memory of a negative experience.

Gluten-free and dairy-free Nutella crepes super approved, excellent taste, you couldn't even tell they were gluten-free. Celiaac-proof. The owner was very kind and helpful, providing me with all the information regarding the brioche and the gluten-free cone. I will definitely return to try the latter.

Delicious gluten-free ice cream. We ordered a gluten-free cake, so also without sponge cake, for 15 people, and not even a slice was left.
