All the fried items on the menu are gluten-free, for the pizzas (in trays) there are 2 menus with and without gluten. Everything is tracked with flags marked gluten-free and lactose-free if ordered, maximum safety ensured by separate laboratories and the thoroughly exhaustive explanations from the staff. I found the tray pizza to be good, as well as the ascolana olives. Gluten-free beer on tap. Prices are average for the area.

Lovely but confusing locale. The gluten-free pizza is nothing special. High prices.

Super courteous staff!! Fried food and sweets all gluten-free and I would add they are delicious! Catalan cream is top-notch! Gluten-free round pizza on the plate is truly good and satisfying, they have a huge variety of flavors! To avoid cross-contamination, they seat gluten-sensitive people at the sides of the table, which I believe is a great practice! Highly recommended.

Owner and staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. Wide choice of products, including typical ones. Dessert (ricotta and chocolate tart) very good!

Excellent gluten-free option with lactose-free mozzarella also available. This AIC-certified establishment offers delicious fried foods, bruschettas, and gluten-free pizzas. The supplì and the zoccolette with Nutella are an absolute must-try for the sweet-toothed. The place is small but cozy, and the girl who served us was always kind and helpful. My wife, who is lactose intolerant, asked the waitress for the lactose percentage in the mozzarella, and after a few minutes, she brought the package, allowing my wife to see that the lactose percentage is 0.01%. I don’t think it could be more professional than that. Prices are appropriate for the quality of the food; we spent €46 for two people.

The Bucket and the Olive Tree is always a guarantee. I come to this place regularly and I'm always surprised by the goodness of the food and the uniqueness of the offerings. The fried dishes are delicious and range from the classics, perfectly executed, to more creative proposals, always with quality ingredients. The bruschetta is addictive; the one with ciauscolo, in my opinion, is sublime. The pizza, paired with a pitcher of fresh beer, is the final touch: crispy, light, with a unique dough and a fantastic taste. Margherita and marinara are top. For the heroes of the table, there are also some delicious desserts; I had to give in first. As an important note, my wife, who cannot eat gluten, finds a suitable offer for her needs, without compromising on flavors, quality, and safety in the preparations.

CELIAC, ALLERGIC TO LACTOSE AND NICKEL, SORRY IF IT'S A LITTLE. For me, this is not just a simple pizzeria, but a paradise; they have everything necessary for a loser like me. Certified AIC pizzeria, separate kitchen, lactose-free mozzarella (0.01%), nickel-free tomato. Fried foods, bruschetta, pizza, and desserts, unbelievable stuff. Everything is delicious, service is top-notch, and prices are fair in relation to the quality of the products. The cherry on top is that the cashier gave me a package of gluten-free breadcrumbs made by them as a gift at the end.

Two hearts, a pizzeria 16/04/2025 I am a lover of thick crust pizza and eat with gluten, my partner is celiac and eats gluten-free. Every time we go to this place, we leave satisfied; all the fried foods are gluten-free, unusual and delicious, the craft beers are of high quality, the pizzas are tasty and well-seasoned, not to mention the fried zoccolette with gluten-free Nutella, a real delight for the palate. Prices are adequate for the quality of the food, quick and professional service, family-friendly environment…

Incredible experience regarding the world of pizzas. I have never eaten a pizza like this, with a crispy base and a very soft sponge-like top. Toppings made with high-quality ingredients. The fried foods are also worth trying, particularly the supplì and croquettes. To conclude, their cinnamon and basil liqueurs are exceptional. Impeccable atmosphere and service. I felt at home. Pizzas are also gluten-free.

Absolutely unforgettable experience that I would love to repeat! I came last night and it was a dinner with top-quality food, an intimate yet family-like atmosphere, very attentive and kind staff, especially the owner who is a truly gracious person. I would like to specify that we ordered everything gluten-free, and their gluten-free offering is vast; both the fried items and the pizza are comparable, if not superior, to regular gluten options found out there. We had a 'fina fina' croquette that was tasty and creamy inside with a wonderfully crispy coating outside, then exquisite 'bufalina' and 'porcini, speck, and provola' pizzas that have just the right dough balancing crunchiness and softness. We also tasted some Nutella pastries that were out of this world... overall, a very positive experience, I can't wait to go back!

Dinner out with my partner, we ordered a gluten-free bruschetta with tomato for me and a croquette for him... The croquette arrived after ten minutes, but there was no sign of the bruschetta. After another 20 minutes, the regular pizza arrived while I was still waiting for the bruschetta with tomatoes. When I inquired about the missing bruschetta, I was told that the gluten-free kitchen is downstairs and that there is only one cook (as if it takes 20 people to make a bruschetta and put two tomatoes on it, but okay). Considering that the table next to us, which arrived later, received their gluten-free bruschettas (cooked, therefore more complex than mine) before us. After another 10 minutes, the bruschetta with tomatoes haphazardly placed on top arrived, without oil. Clearly, we waited another 45 minutes for the gluten-free pizza (even though I had ordered it together with the bruschetta), and after waiting another 20 minutes for dessert (only to discover that the order hadn’t been taken), I got up from the table insisting my partner to leave. Meanwhile, the table next to us had even received dessert and left, while we had to eat separately due to the delays of the various dishes. I will never return. For a croquette, a bruschetta, and two pizzas we spent an hour and a half at the table... Basically, it was a hostage situation. Considering it was during the week and more than half the tables were free.

I gave all the stars because when you work with passion and dedication, it is felt in everything, and coming out of a place with gratitude for having had a truly good time must be highlighted. The place is welcoming, not very large, and that’s not a bad thing at all. The owner, if he can, never says no; he always finds a spot. The atmosphere is immediately delightful, the staff is always smiling, and there’s no sense of hurry or difficulty. At the same time, the service is fast and precise. I found this place because I am celiac, and here you can practically eat everything, the gluten-free version: pizza, pinsa, vegetable fritters, supplì, croquettes, and much more, and the quality is truly superior! Highly recommended; every time I am in Rome, it is a must-stop!

I went to this place to eat gluten-free. I should mention that I'm not intolerant but just sensitive to gluten, and this restaurant has maximum safety. They seat those who eat gluten-free at the sides of the table to avoid contamination. The place is very small, and the tables are very close together, so you definitely need to book in advance, but it’s a really nice, cozy, and warm place. The staff is super polite, not to mention the incredibly kind and friendly owner, who even offered us pancakes with Nutella for my birthday. Speaking of food, what can I say... the fried foods and desserts are all gluten-free and delicious! The crema catalana was the best, the gluten-free pizza was very tasty and super filling, with a lot of flavor choices, while the regular pizza was served on a platter in slices and looked very inviting. The beer comes in a bucket, and they have bruschetta that looked very good—I’ll return to try them! What can I say? 100% gluten-free safety, good food, and very kind staff. The prices might be a tad high, but just a little (e.g., we had 4 suppli, two beers, one bruschetta, one gluten-free pizza (€12) with four slices for flavor, 4 desserts, and one cola, totaling €28 per person for 4). I will definitely go back!

Cute place where you can eat pizza by the slice, round only gluten-free. The idea of a 1.5-liter beer bucket is nice. Another specialty is the bruschetta with the most particular flavors... if you choose a trio of these, it's enough for dinner!! Highly recommended!!

I have been eating and knowing the pizza made at Secchio and Olivaro for years, and I can only say that when I eat the marinara, my taste buds flood my palate with joy and flavor. I’m not writing this review just for the excellent quality of the pizza, but to emphasize that for over twenty years, Secchio and Olivaro has been one of the few pizzerias open in Rome in August, giving those who stay in Rome the certainty of a place always open with great products (including gluten-free options) and a fair balance between the food and the bill. Kudos to the owner Fabio and all his collaborators.

If I had to give a rating from 1 to 100, I would give it 100. A small, clean, and welcoming English-style venue. The gluten-free food is excellent, and they even have gluten-free beer in a bucket, which is a delicious craft beer. Everything is good; I recommend it for those who love home-cooked meals. Guys, it's amazing. The owners have a rare and incredible hospitality. Sometimes simplicity is all it takes to delight your palate.

A good traditional pizzeria that is also gluten-free, the quality is good although I found the prices slightly excessive. In a strategic location in Rome, I recommend it especially when you are in a group with people who suffer from celiac disease and don’t know where to go to eat pizza together. Pizza, beer, and desserts are all strictly gluten-free.
