Restaurant near the sea, private internal parking (outside white lines), access ramp for disabled. Wide selection of gluten-free dishes, especially gluten-free fried baby squid. Good food, slightly above average prices, small wine list (with wines from different areas of Italy). We visited on a winter Saturday, with some minor oversights from the staff during our experience, though they were very kind and helpful, but service was a bit slow for our table composed of many celiac individuals and one vegan. Overall, the environment feels a bit dated. Payment possible with card machine.

Last time! I have been to the restaurant Il Corsaro many times since, as a celiac, they also offer gluten-free cuisine. I have always had a good experience, but this time, not at all. I ordered, as I have done before, the grilled fish accompanied by sautéed chicory. The chicory was boiled and tasteless, but that was okay. The grilled fish (22 euros) seemed like a joke. A small piece of squid, a triangle of bass full of bones, three tiny shrimp, one of which was so dried out it looked like a leftover, all garnished with wilted arugula that filled the empty plate. Certainly not a dignified grill and definitely far from the misleading images posted on the website. I also note that while there was a tag on the gluten-free bread and vegetables stating 'gluten-free', there was none on the grill. I settled for dinner thinking it might just be a 'bad' evening, but right after eating, I felt cramps in my stomach. I immediately approached the staff, assuring them that they had informed the chef that I was celiac, and I took the opportunity to express my dissatisfaction regarding the grill. Normally, when a customer is not satisfied, one apologizes or at least tries to understand the reason, instead I was immediately dismissed by the manager who, without a hint of courtesy or even regret, but rather immediately on the defensive, assured me that there could be no reasons for gluten contamination as they have two kitchens of 120 square meters. So maybe the stomach pain was due to the quality? Disappointed by everything, they surely won't be seeing me again.

A really nice, clean, and well-kept place. The bar area for aperitifs on the beach is very welcoming and right by the sea. The apericena is very good, and the organization for a gluten-free menu is excellent. The staff is very kind and available. I will definitely return to try the restaurant, which is truly delightful. The apericena menu is 20 euros, with various fried items, sandwiches, cold pasta, and excellent cocktails. There is also a pastry service (great) for those with celiac disease.

I celebrated my 20th birthday here, and it was beautiful and unforgettable. From the start, they were available and very nice, both regarding the cake and food since I am celiac, and also in terms of the service from the staff and the DJ, who was really great and made our evening very pleasant. My parents went to eat at the restaurant and they also had a wonderful experience, finding exquisite dishes and a great welcome. I recommend it! Thanks again to Mrs. Patrizia, the DJ, and all the staff!

In search of a restaurant that can offer a gluten-free menu, we made a reservation here for Saturday night dinner. The experience exceeded expectations, which were already positive given the reviews. Pleasant location, practically right by the beach, well-kept, with a touch of elegance and plenty of comfort in the space. Excellent service, prompt and always courteous. I have never seen such attention in offering ladies an additional chair to place their bag. Short menu, probably subject to periodic changes. Few dishes, but all very interesting. I recommend the chef's mixed appetizer with cold and hot selections. All the proposed dishes were available for coeliacs as well, so a dinner without limitations for my wife (finally). The cuisine is flavorful with fresh fish, well-prepared. More than satisfying portions. Service at the level of very good dining. Everything was good and worth recommending. Price is medium-high but worth it. Thank you and see you soon.

Well, what can I say besides the excellent place to spend the day at the beach, I've discovered that the dinner is also very good, especially as you can imagine, the fish is very tasty. Another very important thing in my case is that they have everything gluten-free as well. Perfect! Highly recommended!!!

Well-maintained family-run establishment. With business agreements. Huge parking lot. I think it's among the largest in Ostia. You'll never risk having to go back home because you don't know where to park the car. Snack bar during the day and restaurant in the evening (but also during the day), are the highlights of the establishment. Excellent seafood dishes. Evening atmosphere at sunset is magical. Restaurant waiters are very friendly. But above all, fresh dishes for celiacs, absolutely not improvisational. Mixed fry, fried baby octopus, paccheri with lobster, spaghetti with clams, strozzapreti with seafood. All also for celiacs, without changing a comma in the recipe. I can't stand restaurants that serve us celiacs the usual penne dressed as we like!!!!! Bravo Marco (the restaurant owner) for the impeccable organization and always finding excellent solutions for your events (birthdays, corporate dinners, etc...)
