The warmth of Daniela, the owner, of Paola, her right-hand woman, and of the entire staff is hard to find. The food is a delight for the palate. Yesterday, for my daughter's First Communion, everything was wonderful, intimate, and joyful. Adorable location. Highly recommended also for its gluten-free delicacies. P.S. In April, for my wedding, everything was perfect, on the plates and around...

We chose this place to celebrate our daughters' communion since they have a double kitchen for celiacs. The room is very well-kept, and the garden is fantastic so the little guests had the opportunity to run around and the adults could breathe in the open air. Excellent service, from the appetizer to the dessert everything was very good, and they were very attentive to intolerances (we also had people intolerant to casein). Mrs. Daniela was very helpful and kind. The dining staff were efficient and polite.

We have known Poggio della Guardia for several years, since the "old style", and we have always been pleased with the pizza, the cuisine, and the grill. Last week, we decided to celebrate our daughter's Confirmation here, in this renovated, expanded, and wonderful location, and what can I say? We found Daniela's willingness to propose and assist us in choosing a menu suitable for our needs, even for guests with intolerances, and it was a continuous display of professionalism and kindness: preparation of the room, welcome, food with quality raw materials, and the skill and attentiveness of the waiters during service. We were completely satisfied and even more gratified by our relatives and friends who definitely appreciated both the venue and the excellent dishes. The service-quality/price ratio is excellent.

After several years, I returned to what I left as a 'country trattoria' and was utterly amazed to find the place completely changed. The spaces have increased tremendously, decorated with taste, able to host multiple banquets simultaneously; today there were three along with other family groups. The quality of the food is excellent as always, and despite the number of guests, the service was quick and attentive. Anyone reading my review may wonder why three stars instead of the usual five for those who are fully satisfied. It's simple: in the flyer promoting the place, they guaranteed a menu for people with celiac disease. When it came time to place our order, the waitress informed us that we should have communicated this at the time of reservation. I wonder, wouldn’t it have been more professional to specify 'subject to prior notice'? Anyway, it seems like nonsense to me. If the restaurant offers food for celiacs, there shouldn't be any need for reservation; I believe it's a matter of professionalism!

Very nice and spacious place, especially suitable for large groups, less so for medium-small families at least on festive days. I can't give an opinion on the menu because as a celiac I could only have a steak (which is not the best for me) and a salad. So if I can give advice to my celiac friends, don't be fooled even if you read "gluten-free menu" on the site.
