a long-time customer, the quality has slightly decreased over the years and the prices have risen a bit (for gluten-free products) but safe products with no risk of contamination and well stocked. very kind and helpful staff.

Their gluten-free cakes are amazing! It's been ages since I had such good and well-made pastry sweets. Very friendly staff, rating 10/10.

Two cakes in 2024 (gluten-free and lactose-free) for two birthdays and everything was fine. In 2025, for the same birthdays, an inexplicable drop in quality. The last one, a carrot cake, had very few carrots and was full of cream that completely covered everything else, when the original cake is actually a dry cake at the base. For 2026, I will most likely be forced to look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Always a very pleasant welcome. The gluten-free food, both sweet and savory, is of the highest quality. Thank you for the commitment and for preparing gluten-free food, which is never a simple task đ

The best fresh gluten-free bread I have ever eaten! A wide assortment of sweet and savory products, regular, gluten-free, and lactose-free; they also make gluten-free and lactose-free cakes upon order. One of the best places in Viterbo! They even have homemade gluten-free panettone! A specialty.

For one reason or another, these pastry shops that should be a little slice of paradise for me (Iâm celiac) represent a hell. Late openings without croissants, lines without sense (you never know if you should pay first or be served), table service with endless waits and chaotic (why keep two dining rooms open if you have one waitress, who doesnât see you, and few customers?), holidays not communicated on maps or social media (a sign only present at the one on Via Montebianco, Garden Cafe only has closed gates). In short, despite the recent abundance of pistachio in the croissants, often those croissants remain just a desire.

I didn't bring home a cake just because I had to drive an hour, but they were all more beautiful and inviting than the last! I went there because I am celiac and enjoyed two gluten-free pastries accompanied by an iced tea. The choice is wide and the prices are great. The place is also lovely and welcoming.

A pastry shop with a capital P, really. For a few years now, I've only eaten gluten free and they are unmatched even in that.

I ordered a cake and sandwiches with savory snacks for celiacs for my son's birthday party. Initially, I ordered for 12:30 on the following Saturday. Then I called to change the order time on Wednesday afternoon to 11:30, since the diploma ceremony for the kindergarten kids, including my son, would take place an hour earlier. I was on the phone with one of their staff for almost two minutes and 25 seconds to set the pickup time for 10:10 and 10:30. She kindly asked for my name, surname, and my partner's name and surname. I reminded her of my son's name and his age. She assured me everything would be ready by that time. When we went to pick everything up, my partner was told that no changes had been made to the order because no one had called, and that the cake still needed to be made but would be ready in 10 minutes. 47 minutes later, I lost track of time for the diploma ceremony, which in reality happened at 12:20 under the scorching sun, just me and my son with the teachers, while his classmates had all gone, and we also missed the moment of gift giving. To be fair, the cake was beautiful and delicious; everything was very good and well presented. However, we missed a ceremony that my son was very much looking forward to because of the carelessness of one staff member, which I find unacceptable. Not to mention, I still have the recorded call in my call log, so to say that no call was made is absurd. If I hadnât been in the car under the sun with my sleeping son, I would have let them have a piece of my mind.

A very well-furnished venue with an appealing style. Wide selection of fresh and excellent products. There is a section for gluten-free and lactose-free products. Additionally, there is also a corner equipped for great espresso coffee. As if that weren't enough, you can also sit in an outdoor veranda to eat and enjoy drinks. In the veranda, there is a small bookshelf that allows you to dedicate some time to reading while tasting desserts and sipping a drink. The staff is always courteous and professional. In short, a unique and very pleasant environment. 100% recommended.

Excellent savory and sweet products, also vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free.

The gluten-free products are excellent, but unfortunately the waiting times are long due to the confusion in the service. The number of staff is sufficient, but they lack organization. If they could address these shortcomings, I would definitely give the highest rating.

Delicious pastry shop... As soon as you enter, it feels like you are in the land of toys, everything is perfectly looked after... Coffee corner, a gluten-free corner whose sweets are simply delightful, even without milk, made exclusively by them, with a separate lab and pastry chefs specialized in gluten-free and dairy-free... Anyone going to Viterbo must stop by the Casantini pastry shop!!!
