Location of the chain "Il Melograno" that I had already tried and appreciated in Trieste and that I continue to visit when I find myself in the Friulian capital. The quality of the food and the hospitality of the venue in Palmanova are the same; it’s truly wonderful to find the same professionalism, I recommend it.

a vast selection of gluten-free dishes prepared in a separate kitchen, accredited by AIC. All pizzas can be requested with gluten-free dough and are exceptional! The first courses and appetizers are exquisite. The desserts offered are varied and all gluten-free! Additionally, there are many vegan and lactose-free options. Highly recommended!

Delicious pizza with top-quality ingredients, a welcoming place, and a vast selection even in the regular menu.. service is generally average, sometimes a bit slow.

Excellent cuisine, contemporary menu attentive to all needs and intolerances, for which they are very well prepared. A true cult of organic and km 0. Highly recommended.

I tried the Fra’Gra Favolosa pizza with the new low carb dough, which is really light and delicious. So I really hope it stays forever! Not to mention the great vegan and gluten-free options that allow everyone to be included, even in desserts. For me, Melograno is now a guarantee, as there’s nothing similar and so inclusive in the area!!

A very frequented place by me, I've always felt good! Friendly, nice, and professional staff! They offer a wide choice for people with various intolerances, which is commendable! They have two options for those who are lactose intolerant: 1) lactose-free mozzarella that has a very low percentage of it 2) totally vegan mozzarella for those who are allergic to lactose or intolerant to the point of feeling ill with the slightest amount! What I prefer is that when they take orders, the first question they ask is if anyone has intolerances or allergies, thus giving focused and appropriate attention! Well done!

Very beautiful and welcoming place. The waiter was super helpful. I had a gluten-free pizza and it was really, really good. The gluten-free tiramisu is also something sublime. Highly recommended 🥰

AIC certification we really ate very well, the service is excellent with very polite and competent staff!! We had two gluten-free appetizers and a mixed fried fish and vegetable dish (there's no photo because we finished it immediately) really excellent 😋 and to conclude a cheesecake and a sorbet, magnificent! The focaccia was gluten-free and also made by them, considering that I usually don’t eat bread, it shows how good it was since I finished it all 😍 we will return very soon, maybe even to UD since it’s closer for us and we just discovered that this delight will open there too!!!

A shabby chic style restaurant with great attention to small details. The staff is always polite, and the dishes are wonderful both to the eye and to taste. I recommend the special pizzas with various flavors, already cut into slices (I particularly love their Tricolore, which I’m attaching a photo of and obviously recommend). It's a welcoming place even for people with celiac disease or various intolerances. Since we discovered it, every occasion is a good reason to go there.

Dinner for anniversary celebration. By nature, we are used to trying something new, and today we tried this restaurant. Excellent impression right from the entrance: sunny venue, fresh environment, kind and welcoming staff. Great menu, varied and attentive to needs. Primarily gluten-free and also certified for celiacs. Excellent dishes, flavorful and generous. Also vegan and meat-based options available. Great choice in the pizza section, also with gluten-free options. Next time we will try the pizzas because they seem very interesting. Well done!! Until the next occasion. Highly recommend!

The pizzeria restaurant Il Melograno is located in the center of Palmanova. I stopped there on my way back from a vacation in Croatia due to the convenient location of the place in relation to the highway exit. Nice place, very kind and helpful staff, and a rich menu with particular attention to food intolerances, especially gluten-free. In the photo, besides the chicken salad with rosemary and basmati rice, a fantastic gluten-free pizza with yellow cherry tomatoes, ricotta, and cherry tomatoes. Excellent value for money. Congratulations, certainly recommended! I will return soon.

Nice place, appealing and well-made menu, great for those with intolerances as it is possible to request gluten-free or lactose-free food. We went in a group of 4, gluten-free pizza was excellent, and the pomegranate dough pizza was great. I don't give 5 stars only because my wife's dish arrived when I had already finished mine, and then they forgot to bring us desserts... and when you're with children, it's hard to keep them calm if nothing arrives... anyway, overall a nice restaurant.

I have to thank the girl who was on cash duty Saturday night because - seeing a group still consulting the takeout menu - she promptly took my order and after not even 5 minutes, the pizza maker had the margherita ready. Thanks a lot!! The dough is really, really good, maybe too thin if you overload it with tomato. I will definitely return to try the gluten-free dough and take the opportunity to buy some truffle sauces that they sell at the pizzeria. If you are vegetarian or vegan, I recommend trying the version with brown rice mozzarella ;-)

A very well-kept environment, extremely kind and courteous staff. Genuine dishes. There is a lot of attention to raw materials. A huge offer of gluten-free and/or lactose-free foods. There are appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, pizza, meat, and fish. There is a menu reserved for children. The amount of wine in the glass could be a bit more generous. A nice place that satisfies everyone from vegans to celiacs to carnivores.

Every time we've come, we found the staff very polite and kind. You can tell there is training behind it, especially regarding celiac disease. Good gluten-free options with quality products. Well done!

Today for the first time in this magnificent place; we were struck by the decor in pleasant light colors, sand and sage; then the polite and knowledgeable staff, and finally the dishes we ordered were truly exquisite! Finally, a delicious and crispy gluten-free pizza! We will definitely return.

Attracted by interesting reviews, we returned: in fact, we had already been there when they had just opened but despite not having brilliant memories, we fell for it again. At the entrance, if you don't have a reservation, they professionally point out the table where you can sit, emphasizing that only that one (or the nearby one) is available; however, it is annoying that after us 9 groups, only 1 had a reservation, and each was treated with the same formality. I presume they wanted to suggest that everything was booked, but I am not here to write a review for these details, but for what I HAVE (WE HAVE) SEEN. From the service door, an employee (in a discreet manner) came in with a white bucket (the common ones for cleaning) filled with overflowing tomato sauce and brought it to the pizzaiolo; now: almost everyone knows that plastics for containing food must be food-grade, otherwise they release toxic substances, especially tomatoes, which by nature are acidic. This is particularly concerning for those who champion organic and casually ask if you have food intolerances when taking the order. I was stunned! I wanted to stand up and make a scene, but I was held back by who was with me and saw the scene. The pizza wasn't good, excuse me, but whoever wrote that the pizza is good has never eaten a truly tasty and authentic one! The prices are slightly above average; in short, a big X on the place. Hoping to have been helpful to those wishing to eat well.

LOCATION: The venue is located in the medieval town and UNESCO heritage site of Palmanova. It's very modern and well-kept, giving the impression of a modern food lab. The place has a large dining area but is quite popular, so we recommend making a reservation. MENU: 6 Passing by the pizza maker and seeing some pizzas waiting to be served to customers increased the hype significantly, and I was looking forward to tasting a truly quality product. However, in the end, my expectations were disappointed. The pizza is not bad, but it's nothing exceptional, neither good nor bad. Even the products that are highlighted in the menu for their quality leave something to be desired. Really, it's without praise or blame. The venue also has an interesting restaurant proposal that we did not try. However, we emphasize the great attention and rich proposal for those with food intolerances. Well done! SERVICE: 6 Skipping over an incident we experienced that I won't detail here, the service was sufficient, polite, and helpful but did not convey a great deal of empathy towards the customer. BILL: 6.5 It's not particularly high, but it suffers from a quality/price ratio that leaves something to be desired.

We are not from Palmanova and the city is not usually on the way, but whenever we can, we are happy to visit this particular place. The food is good, not just the pizza, the service is excellent, and having a daughter with intolerances, the owner's choice to use a specific quality of ingredients is commendable, also because it is healthy. Highly recommended.

Aesthetically beautiful restaurant, very welcoming, the environment is bright and well-kept. The menu is really extensive: you can choose from various appetizers, first courses, second courses, salads, and pizzas. The products used are fresh and come from local farms. The pizzas can be prepared with various doughs (including gluten-free): in particular, it is possible to order pizza with sourdough, super digestible and suitable even for those intolerant to yeast (until dough runs out), otherwise it will be prepared with classic dough with beer yeast (always with a long fermentation). The staff is really kind and helpful. The prices are more than adequate. Truly an excellent restaurant, I greatly appreciated the care for the customer and for the details even in the service, I absolutely recommend it!

Great pizzeria restaurant, with ingredients and quality of the pizzas definitely above average. Excellent service and a great selection of beers. Prices are slightly higher than the average "regular pizzeria" but it's worth it... Well compensated by the quality. Now let's talk about the gluten-free pizza: simply outstanding. Celiac indecisive like me... Don't hesitate. Go in and you'll see.
