The menu offers a variety of sandwiches with some quite inviting special products. From the perspective of celiac disease and contamination, I rate it 5. However, my wife's gluten-free shrimp sandwich was not at all inviting, and she was quite disappointed with the final result. The other two sandwiches ordered with cold cuts were good, while the octopus my daughter ordered as a plate was rather meager, especially considering we are in Palermo. Given the alternating impressions and considering the expectations and the quantity/price relationship, I give a final rating of 3 stars.

I really liked it a lot and so did my parents who are not celiac! They have so many options that I was a bit confused, but I am pretty sure the whole menu could be made gluten-free. The bread was soft, fortunately no trace of that unpleasant "gluten free" taste, and the ingredients seemed to be of good quality! I will definitely return <3 I am happy to have discovered another place downtown that offers gluten-free options, slightly different from the others!

We were a group of 5 people, in a cozy and nice place. Polite service but slow, even though there were no more than three tables when we went there. I had the "Nemo" sandwich which was very good but not particularly large. Varied menu and, above all, with plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians/gluten-free.

Deep disappointment and unacceptable lightness regarding food allergies I generally avoid negative reviews: I believe an experience can just go wrong. But what happened this time exceeded all tolerance. We returned to this place after almost a year, strengthened by a great memory and comforted by a phone call in which we were confirmed that they continued to serve gluten-free dishes, even for celiacs. Unfortunately, the experience was not only disappointing but also irritating and concerning due to the absolute superficiality in handling food allergies. We arrived in eight, and my wife, who is celiac and has further serious allergies (one of which can lead to anaphylactic shock), ordered a gluten-free sandwich with great care, clearly stating the ingredients to avoid. When the sandwich arrived, it appeared to contain sesame — a dangerously allergenic substance for her. Upon our polite clarification, we were shown the product label, which indeed indicated the presence of traces of sesame, but the waiter hadn’t even read it carefully. Despite having clarified that we did not wish to consume the sandwich but were willing to pay for it anyway, we were summoned by the owner, who addressed the situation in a rude, derogatory, and unpleasantly contentious tone, trying to minimize the risk and questioning a health condition that instead deserves respect and competence. In the end, no alternative was proposed (despite the phone reassurances), and the contents of the sandwich were brought to us on a plate, as if nothing had happened. No apology, no gesture of understanding, not even a kind word. Just a growing sense of discomfort for us and our friends. We paid for everything, as is right, but without even receiving the courage of a final goodbye from the owner, who chose to remain hidden behind the staff. It’s not about money, but about respect. And that, unfortunately, you have completely lost. We will not return and will firmly advise against this place to anyone with particular dietary needs.

Very varied selection of sandwiches, truly tasty. Gluten-free option with a minimal surcharge. Calm and friendly atmosphere. Excellent!
