Rossopomodoro Genova Porto Antico offers a charming location and a culinary experience that includes gluten-free options. Although the gluten-free variety is limited, the commitment to accommodate all customers is commendable.

Recognized AIC and attentive to contaminants. The pizza is of very poor quality. Frozen base from Schär, practically a dry focaccia with toppings. Excessive cost for a pizza that can be exactly made in a home oven.

Even if it is certified, I do not recommend it.

They make gluten-free pizza but it's terrible. The dough is the frozen ready-made kind, it is soft and half-raw, it literally tastes like cardboard, I left almost all of it even though I was hungry. I don’t remember if they had a double oven (essential for someone with celiac disease).

Once, gluten-free pizza was good but now it's really declined... such sadness... I always appreciate the effort anyway.

Miserable gluten-free proposal, the gluten-free pizzas were 4 and looked like frozen ones that were already ready (they were almost certainly that), rude staff and very long wait, especially for the gluten-free pizza, we all ate at different times. We had booked a table for about fifteen people and they divided us with 5 on one side and 10 on the other, making us wait half an hour because they hadn't prepared the table yet. The prices were sky-high. I only recommend it if every other restaurant with gluten-free options in the area is closed. There are many other restaurants nearby with significantly better offerings.

beautiful location and prices justifiably sky-high. Unfortunately, the gluten-free options are quite scarce. You can choose from tomato pizza, tomato and mozzarella pizza, buffalo mozzarella and tomato pizza, and tomato pizza with mozzarella and spicy salami! The pizzas arrived much earlier than the gluten-free one, making us eat at separate times. The dough is definitely improvable, but acceptable. Price for Margherita with buffalo mozzarella is €12. Classic Margherita is €9, service charge is €2.5.

So, it’s a great place to go if you’re organizing meals with many people who have different dietary needs. They have pizza with vegan mozzarella, lactose-free, and gluten-free crust. Now I speak from my experience with gluten-free pizza: there’s definitely little to improve and a lot to enhance. Considering the restaurant boasts a Neapolitan tradition, considering they use flour from Mulino Caputo (which the brand also makes gluten-free and those who regularly buy it for pizza know it’s one of the best), and also considering that the place is AIC, it was quite a disappointment. The pizza was a brick, on the verge of undercooked and really heavy to finish. It might have been okay 10 years ago when gluten-free pizza was generally in experimentation in restaurants, but now we can do much better than this.

I really can't understand some negative reviews. There's nothing negative about it; the staff is very kind, the location is beautiful and clean. The welcome is very friendly, youthful, and cheerful. The pizza is really good for me, always flavorful and made with excellent products. I am a regular customer; if I have to choose a pizzeria in Genoa, I almost always come here. Not to mention the desserts that are truly exquisite. I recommend the lemon delight! As for the price, let's say it has increased a little bit, but unfortunately, that's the case everywhere! For me, I give it a 10 😉 Ps very importantly, they make gluten-free pizza, which is not common!

We are on vacation in Genoa and were looking for a good Neapolitan pizzeria, but at the same time someone who was prepared for a gluten-free pizza for my wife, who is celiac. I searched on Google and found Rossopomodoro. I know the brand, but I have never been to one of their pizzerias—top quality! There is a bit of a wait, but it was worth it, gluten-free pizza gets a 10! Recommended!
