The environment is a bit confusing, hard to talk and relax. The pizza dough is good, but the ingredients are a bit bland, missing a pinch of salt! 🍴 The staff was kind, but they couldn't do much for the atmosphere. The pizzeria is equipped for those with special needs, like gluten-free options. Overall, if you're not too picky, it's acceptable. 👍

The montanare were terrible, raw and inedible, and the margherita pizza was shameful with uneatable toppings. The fried food was inedible, full of oil and disgusting, and the hygiene of the restaurant was poor. We will not be returning.

Gluten-free pizza was quite good; I would have preferred the dough to be a little thinner. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable, and the quality-to-price ratio was excellent. They were even kind enough to offer a digestif. The atmosphere was very cheerful, and I would definitely return if I were in the area. Special mention for the possibility of having gluten-free and lactose-free dessert; I tasted a slice of tiramisu cake, which was good.

I have to say that as a place it's not very beautiful but it does its job. The meat was served to me almost raw even though I had asked for it well done. The appetizer isn't bad, just a bit salty (a little). The service is good, and the atmosphere is quiet for those who want to have fun and sing. The first course with sauce is good and the pasta is cooked well, but the tomato is a bit raw... rating: 5½ it can improve in aspects such as lowering the volume of the speakers.

It's a venue where karaoke is also done. But, be careful, with a speaker volume that literally shatters eardrums!!! You can't force other patrons who are not interested to endure this torture. Dear Amoriello, a piece of advice from a friend: create a private club for these singers. Don't open it to other types of audience, otherwise you'll forget about the Gambero Rosso.

Attracted by its reputation in the valley, we visited the venue; nice tables outside, a quiet and clean environment. We ordered panuozzi, unfortunately a hamburger with an indefinable taste, stale and overcooked; undercooked fries, ice served in the Pignatiello of gnocchi, very casual service, which I would still save compared to the food. In a place where the meats are excellent, you don’t expect that kind of cooking, a brick in the middle of a dry pizza bread! It was hard to swallow, like rubber. Bad aftertaste, with a menu that was supposedly Marchigiana. Total disappointment, now gluten-free pizza is fortunately found everywhere, but along with professionalism and quality without having to stray too far. I save the waiter, a mature person with good manners who tries to make you feel at ease. Besides the meat, we had the margherita pizza, nothing special. Truly a personal experience that I do not recommend. The receipt (fiscal?) was given like this, without any reference.

We have known Marco Amoriello for 20 years, since my father became celiac. Since then, it has been endless love, to the point that during summer days we sometimes travel 500 km in a day from Rome just to eat his gluten-free pizza; the best in circulation for its category. Come in large numbers, at Guappo it feels like home and Marco is an institution ♥️

If you are looking for a quiet place where you can eat well at reasonable prices, you are in the right place. I have tried many pizzas, but for me, the best one is still the margherita. You should also try the many house specialties. We have also been for dinner and some holidays, with various courses from appetizers to main courses. Highly recommended!

The dough is good and the pizza is very good and light, classic, without 'overstuffed' and plastic-like crusts. The venue is spacious and clean, with honest prices, good quality, and plenty of courtesy and kindness from the dining staff. A setting in the greenery, at the foot of Taburno, but the award-winning pizzaiolo is quite a character. Definitely a place to return to again and again, and again... Thank you!

Even the greats can make mistakes, last night we ate an inedible, chewy, raw, and salty gluten-free pizza with ham. I wouldn't want to fuel the controversy, I still feel bad, but it's also the aftermath that wasn't enjoyable. Anyway, we ordered 1 pizza, mine was not eaten, along with 2 bottles of water, and we paid 20 euros. That's fine, until next time, maybe we'll come back.

The restaurant is cozy, it feels like entering a big family. From the owner to the staff, from the appetizers to the fish, to the pizzas, my favorite was Mattarella and pistachio... excellent, I would say... I recommend it to everyone.. My rating is 5 stars.. a big hello to the owner who, with his kindness and ability to make you feel like part of a big FAMILY, won us over 💯💯💯 Thank you very much to everyone...

What can I say, excellent pizza, beautiful venue, top owner Marco Amoriello, excellent service. I recommend it to everyone... TRY IT TO BELIEVE. I add that you cannot criticize the work of serious people who, with dedication and availability, make this work their strength.

A place located in the mountains, the new management is more spacious and bright. The owner is friendly and nice. Gluten-free pizza is soft, well-seasoned, and good. The table service is a bit slow. The portions are generous, so it's worth waiting even an hour to eat....

There are places, referring to pizzerias and restaurants, where you go for a good meal because you know that you'll eat something good and you feel like going there. Well, I can say that going to the pizzeria of Guappo Amoriello means much more than that. It is a true ritual. Every single visit to his pizzeria becomes something unique, an unrepeatable event, a day/evening where you never know what incredible wonders might happen. Seeing such a famous pizzaiolo in the midst of people, taking selfies with everyone, singing, dancing, bringing joy and smiles, putting energy into everything he does, even after many years of work, well, all of this is priceless. Just what I've said so far is worth the price of admission, as they say. Unfortunately, I am not from his area and I have only been to his place twice, but both times, even in the previous venue, the impression was the same. That said, I can also try to spend a few words on the food, which by itself would be noteworthy. French fries, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, potato croquettes (the latter offered directly by Guappo himself) were all of the highest level. However, the pizza is the true flagship. Lately, I've visited many pizzerias, even very famous ones, but my conclusion is always the same. The pizza you eat at Guappo, including the gluten-free one that has skyrocketed his fame, is nothing short of special. With every bite, it feels like tasting a sea of care, dedication, and quality. The dough is extraordinarily delicious, the ingredients are tangibly high-quality, every bite, right to the last, made me feel as if I was savoring something unique. There is something extraordinary about the pizza from this place, a peculiarity all its own that is hard to describe, but can only be experienced, leaving one in awe. There isn't a single person in the world whom I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria to. Congrats Guappo!!! Keep it up! Thank you from the heart.

Newly constructed locale, not very spacious... furnished very simply with too many plants taking up too much space and far too close to the tables... the pizza, well, the sauce was raw, the mozzarella stayed whole, the ham was transparent, a slice so thin that you could see through it... the staff were inattentive, failed for me.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff... their strong point is the pizzas, both regular and gluten-free.

The pizza isn't great. Inside, it's a very bare place for my tastes. The service is slow and the waiters lack savoir-faire, yelling as if they are in a square. A real mess.

Our expectations were not fully met. In the new location, aside from the aesthetic issue (personally, I preferred the more rustic environment), it has, at least for now, lost the buffet of side dishes (even though it is still marked on the menu), which was a plus for me. I was also surprised to hear from the waiter that for gluten-free pizzas, prior reservation is necessary. In the end, they accommodated us (not for all diners, though), but such a requirement feels strange in a place that has gluten-free as its banner. The gluten-free pizza was tasty, but honestly a bit small, and then, without a valid alternative for side dishes (see above), apart from the fried items, one is left a bit unsatisfied. Moreover, we didn't feel free to order another gluten-free pizza, for the reasons mentioned above. The regular Margherita was good but not memorable. My comments aim to be constructive, especially considering the extreme friendliness and courtesy of Guappo.

Top gluten-free products, highly digestible, a welcoming and cool place for warm summer evenings. Absolutely worth trying the pizza with annurca apple puree. The rice-breaded croquettes are excellent.

A welcoming, clean pizzeria. Polite and professional staff. Courtesy, elegance, excellent food quality, gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas—something indescribable, highly recommend it. These are the main elements that distinguish this pizzeria. It deserves all our appreciation. (I'm obviously talking about the new location)

The move to the new location has slightly diminished the personality of the place, but there has been a huge gain in livability and pleasantness of the stay. The pizzeria is easily accessible and is a short distance, about 1 km in a straight line, from the old location. Effective signage can guide even those who, by mistake, might end up at the old premises. The venue features a spacious and beautiful indoor room and a delightful outdoor space where you can have dinner in the cool during the summer. For children, one side of the garden is equipped with swings and slides. The management is family-run, and the staff is kind and helpful. The pizza, we only tried the regular gluten pizza, is good and is on par with the medium-high pizzerias of Campania. The pizza menu is sufficiently broad, but some options, at the time of selection, are unavailable. The real critical point is the organization of the venue, which is evidently inadequate during peak periods. On a summer midweek evening, waiting over an hour for pizza does not reflect well on the establishment. In any case, if you find yourself near Moiano, you can stop by to enjoy the soft Neapolitan pizza with a low crust. If you want to go overboard, try the pizza with Nutella: a great dessert theme.

The renowned pizza chef Marco Amoriello (affectionately called Marcoriello by some), three-time world champion for gluten-free pizza, is a champion not only in the art of pizza but also in life. The Guappo, as everyone knows him, has always been a reference point in the vast universe of master pizzaioli and is the undisputed prototype of friendliness, charm, and creativity. I wanted to elaborate more on the character because for Guappo's pizza, there are no sufficient words... It must be tried!

Pizzeria dal Giappo since 1988... a name, a guarantee. One of the best pizzerias you can find in the area, with a very large parking lot recently expanded, the interior is fantastic, wherever you turn you find awards won for the pizza. A huge detail that sets it apart is that they make pizza for celiacs, a true rarity in these areas and it does not lack quality, having also won awards in this field. Go try it and you will definitely return!!!
