Delicious gluten-free dishes!

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience. There were two of us, and we both ordered gluten-free menus. I was told that everything would be made gluten-free by removing anything that couldn’t be modified. For example, they didn’t bring me couscous and replaced it with rice. But when they delivered the dishes, after reiterating that there were two gluten-free menus, they put both pita bread and rice cakes on the table. I then asked the waiter if the bread was gluten-free (even pointing it out) and I was told yes. I thought it was to provide more options. After eating and finishing the bread, we asked for more, and another waiter told us that we couldn’t eat that one. I’ll spare you the rest of the conversation. I’ll just conclude by saying that this last waiter laughed in my face, saying, “But what do you think the bread is made of? It has flour, that’s obvious,” and then added, “Well, it doesn’t seem like you’re feeling bad, does it?” still laughing. I’m sorry, I will never return and I will advise anyone against it.

I was at the headquarters in Jerusalem and the person I called for the reservation was extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease. The kitchen is unique, but the preparation area for gluten-free dishes is separate from that of other meals to avoid contamination. I tried the tasting menu and in the case of gluten-containing dishes, an alternative was offered to me. Excellent food and a really beautiful setting. I recommend it!

Great Lebanese restaurant, the staff is really attentive to gluten-free requests. Instead of the classic bread, they brought me rice cakes and pointed out which dishes I couldn't eat, really few compared to the offerings.

Very nice restaurant for anyone wanting to try Lebanese food. I ordered two tasting menus with a friend, but they also included dishes with gluten. The staff was knowledgeable and available; in fact, the waitress immediately told me she would replace those dishes with gluten-free options. The menu, in any case, contains a wide selection of typical Lebanese dishes that are gluten-free.
