pizza with quality ingredients, but the pizza is thin and crispy! usually I prefer the softer one :) but it is very light and still enjoyed with taste. I haven't looked into the contamination risk.

Last night I celebrated my graduation in Veterinary Medicine with a pleasant dinner in the company of friends and family at this venue, what can I say... everything was impeccable! Service, organization, kindness, customer care, and food quality, everything needed to create a pleasant memory of such an important milestone! A particular commendation for the attention given to the person with celiac disease at my table, who was able to enjoy the same dishes, but adapted for her! Thank you from the heart to each of you!

The pizzeria is quite spacious, with tables not too close to each other. The pizza is always of good quality and there are many flavors; there is also the option to choose the dough, including gluten-free for celiacs (Note: the pizzeria has only one oven, so there may be a slight risk of contamination, although the staff says they always sprinkle gluten-free flour under each pizza as a precaution). The only downside is that the place is a bit hidden from view, especially if you are going for the first time; however, there is always the possibility of finding parking nearby.

This establishment is considered by many users to be one of the best pizzerias in the city, we gathered our courage and out of curiosity we tried it. _____________________________________________________________________ The venue is well furnished in a rustic style, with a typical atmosphere of Tuscan countryside farms, featuring terracotta tiles, exposed wooden beams, and wrought iron appliques; the pizzeria is divided into two rooms, one external and veranda-like, and a larger internal room, which also houses the pizza counter and a professional bar aligned with the décor. ___________________________________________________________________ The menu is well done, rich in typical Sicilian dishes, known since the appetizers, mixed and traditional, moving on to the first courses, mainly made with fresh seafood, and sometimes frozen but appropriately indicated; the second courses are delightful meat and fish dishes, and finally, the pizzas are truly the main attraction on the menu. Offers from the pizzerias are divided into four categories, thus forming a single large set: - classic - signature, for more discerning palates and stronger tastes - stuffed crust, for the insatiable lovers of crusts - modelling, for imaginative and impactful presentations Next to that, Il Baro offers us different types of doughs, including Kamut, DI Mora, Perciasacchi, Low Carb, verace, and gluten-free, all properly explained. Our choice fell on two categories, the classic, with the Il Baro pizza, and a signature, the Nocina; both pizzas turned out to be really good and well crafted, whereas the first was more delicate and classic, while the Nocina was a truly appreciated surprise, with a strong flavor of almond cream, garlic, and the smoky taste of speck, highly recommended. ___________________________________________________________________ As for the final part of this review, I leave it to the bill, as the cherry on top, Il Baro falls into the category of medium-cost pizzerias with quality certainly above average, with a bill of just under 20 euros per person for: appetizer, pizza, drink, and cover charge; although the name of the pizzeria suggests otherwise, we were not surprised, except for that appetizer composed mainly of frozen products which, given the type of products used, we expected to be fresh, but one knows Il Baro had to deceive us in some way.
