High-level service, excellent quality of raw materials, carefully crafted dishes with refined combinations and original flavors in an elegant environment. If you want an example of how a restaurant should be, you should try IL TARÌ in Amalfi. All the seats are indoors, in a contained space, divided into two rooms meticulously curated in every detail. Elegant and understated but with personality. The restaurant immediately conveys the philosophy of the place. Once the green pass is checked, you will be welcomed courteously and once seated, you will become the center of attention for the staff. The service is one of the aspects my girlfriend and I appreciated most during our experience here. Professional and punctual, knowledgeable and prepared, always present without ever being intrusive. The lady who assisted us with our order guided us through the menu proposals, advising us and especially accommodating my dietary needs as a celiac, with great competence, immediately offering to make the necessary alterations to the dishes so that I wouldn't have to forgo anything. Moreover, the restaurant has a good variety of gluten-free pasta, so I didn’t have to disrupt the nature of the delicacies proposed with inappropriate pasta combinations. Trusting her, we ordered a raw fish appetizer to share and two pasta dishes. While waiting, we were entertained with a small entrée and a tasting of excellent olive oil paired with seaweed grissini that I was able to enjoy with gluten-free bread. A few minutes later, the raw fish arrived, a dish composed of four small tartares paired with fruit and placed on an oyster leaf, an ingredient we were unfamiliar with until yesterday, with a surprising taste! 📷 From left to right: Yellowfin tuna tartare with white currants, scampi tartare with blueberries, red shrimp tartare with blackberries, and amberjack tartare with red raspberries. Everything accompanied by a strictly Amalfi lemon sorbet. Rating 5 for the excellent raw materials, the presentation of the dish, and the combinations with the fruit, a small journey through the flavors of the sea that we will remember for a long time. Lunch continued with the first courses... 📷 Gluten-free spaghetti (as a substitute for Gargano spaghetti) with anchovies and anchovy sauce, garlic, EVO oil, chili pepper, and lemon zest. 📷 Half pacchero from Gargano with sea urchins, cuttlefish, and yellow tomatoes. Perfect in the quantity of pasta and rich in seasoning. The sea embraces the pasta, the chef celebrates the union. A true explosion of flavor, a dance of expertly mixed flavors completes an experience that we surely recommend everyone to try. 📷 Lastly, we indulged in a gluten-free and lactose-free tiramisù, served just a bit too cold, it would have been better a little softer. The two coffees were served with some pastry treats. 📷 Dark chocolate, salt and caramel, orange peel covered in chocolate, and fruit jellies. Limoncello as a must and the bill. 📷 You might wrinkle your nose at the word "cover charge" that sounds a bit medieval, but if it had been called "service," it would have been the same. As mentioned, the service was at a high level, and the bill is perfect for the quality of the dishes offered. 📷 the menu
