Poor quality product, paid a lot. The pistachio cream looks like it does in the photo where the slice is opened in half, a sort of very sweet gel that has nothing to do with pistachio.

Always at the TOP! 🤩 We organized everything last minute, the celebrant wanted profiteroles (I know, we're a bit 'vintage'), I ordered them at 8 in the morning and by 12 they were beautiful and ready! Delicious, super fresh, and gluten-free for everyone! My review refers to the store on via Domenico Fontana, in the Arenella area. The sweets are very good, also the savory pastries, but it is really inappropriate to sell (without even informing the customer) yesterday's parigine, Neapolitan sandwiches, and danubi, which are clearly stale when tasted. And this has happened to me more than once.

A few weeks ago, I decided to reduce gluten in my diet. After various attempts with packaged products, I discovered this laboratory that offers gluten-free items. Extraordinary, really good bread that has nothing to envy from wheat flour bread. Exceptional Danubio, we also found Nutellotto (a dessert with the well-known cocoa cream). The only downside is the parking.

Near Piazza Arenella, there is this bakery equipped with everything. Bread, pizzas, puff pastries, and other treats. Everything is good, fresh, and well made. A small kingdom for celiacs where they can also indulge in some guilty pleasures. I come for my sister and my niece. A stop here is a must when they visit me. I've also tried sweets from the Neapolitan tradition and more. The place is clean and tidy. The owner is always kind and available. The last stop was just a few days ago because of a celiac guest. Highly recommended.

Every time I need quality products, I always go here, to this magnificent and delightful place, where the appetite comes naturally, just by looking and smelling the wonderful scents coming from the workshop. It's worth mentioning that these products are similar to gluten-containing ones; in fact, anyone who is not celiac who tries them is truly impressed by the resemblance to the products they normally use. I've known it for almost 7 years now, and it remains my reference point!

In short... I appreciate more the effort of opening a dedicated pastry shop than the result. I tried a mini caprese - whose rubbery texture did not convince me at all - some taralli with lard and pepper - not crunchy at all, slightly sweet, and very low on pepper! - a fried pizza with soft and good dough (also okay with the filling), and lastly some riccia sfogliatelle ordered two days in advance: these were packed just after baking - even in a bag with holes to let out the steam - and I don't know if it was for this reason or because they were undercooked (ordered for 10 and baked just as I arrived at 10:30) or just because of the dough, but they turned out to be absolutely limp, not at all fragrant. Obviously, a gluten-free flour does not yield the same results as regular flour, but all in all, these days you can find decent gluten-free pastries. I wouldn't spend that money again, what a shame!
