Farinata is very good. The pizza is also good. The service is always courteous and quick.

In the heart of Sarzana, there is this excellent pizzeria that offers gluten-free menu options. Having tried both the gluten-free pizza and the traditional one, I can say that everything was of high quality in abundance and flavors. The atmosphere is informal, the staff is courteous, attentive, and quick, and they know how to recommend various options to satisfy the customer. Prices are in line with gluten-free offerings, but the overall value is a notch above.

The pia is an institution in the area with various points of sale. This one in Sarzana has a few tables outside on a street that is already quite narrow, and inside there's a not-so-big room that unfortunately lacks air conditioning, but the pia was originally established as a takeout service. Everything was very good: pizza, farinata, focaccia di Recco, kind service but fairly imprecise. They also offer gluten-free pizza; unfortunately, when we ordered mozzarella and sausages, the waitress rightly advised us against the sausages because they could be contaminated, as well as the anchovies. I think that with a bit of effort, they could have been cut fresh, but I appreciated that she warned us; unfortunately, many other restaurateurs don’t even care. The gluten-free pizza had way too much tomato. Pricing was unclear; it’s not listed on the menu, and the receipt didn’t specify the items. Despite various issues, I recommend it.
