Peperino Udine offers a varied selection of pizzas, including a delicious gluten-free option baked in a wood-fired oven. Innovative ingredients and special doughs make the experience unique. The staff is courteous, the venue is bright, and it is located in a central area. Ideal also for lactose intolerant individuals and for those looking for something different from the usual.

very good and tasty gluten-free pizza. As in the Peperino pizzeria in Pordenone, they also offer gluten-free beers. I recommend it.

I rarely leave reviews. But a gluten-free pizza this good truly deserves special praise. Some time ago there was another place in Udine, but not in the city center, that made something very similar. The dough is soft and a bit thick, very well cooked: well done, really well done!š

We are a table of 10 and before entering we ask if there is dough for celiacs left, given the previous experiences, and also if they have lactose-free mozzarella. All is fine, so we settle in. We order. After 5 minutes, the waitress comes and says that they do not have lactose-free mozzarella and she has made a wholemeal focaccia that I cannot eat; I tell the girl and she responds haughtily that she will not bring it. A friend orders a pizza with a hard-boiled egg after cooking and they bring him a pizza with the egg broken just before serving it to the table. Experience to be repeated.

Good gluten-free pizza, well-cooked; the dough is artisanal, slightly burnt on the edges. It's a shame about the lack of the raised crust that one would expect from a Neapolitan pizza.

I ordered a gluten-free margherita pizza for takeout. The service was quick and the cashier polite. However, the pizza, which had a gluten-free supplement costing 2.5 euros, for a total of 11.5 euros, was terrible: the dough was thick and soggy, soaked in tomato sauce becoming a mush, and it tasted of oil fried too long. We celiacs appreciate that places offer gluten-free food, but this should at least be acceptable, if not good, especially since you charge us more for it. Otherwise, we might as well go without.

If you want to taste authentic Neapolitan pizza in Udine, this is the right place! Super soft and tasty dough! Good ingredients and excellent combinations, from the lighter to the heavier ones. There is also an option to choose doughs made with cereals, black, and for celiacs. For those with intolerances or allergies, the mozzarella dop from Naples can be replaced with lactose-free mozzarella. Aesthetically unappealing on the outside, but very warm inside. Recommendation for a good pizza solo or for group lunches/dinners!

Pizzeria in central Udine (chain of pizzerias Peperino). The place is a bit tight but bright. The staff is friendly and polite, but once the pizza is served, it's like being forgotten; you have to call again! The pizza is excellent, truly good, with top-quality ingredients. The bill is a bit above average (but being in the center, it makes sense). A very positive note is the possibility to eat gluten-free pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Itās not the usual pizza! These arenāt the usual ingredients, and itās not the usual dough. At Peperino, there are all kinds, baked or fried, for those who are lactose intolerant, and for those who prefer the āblackā one made with activated charcoal. Then there are the ingredients, classic ones, revisited, and innovative. Iād make them a few centimeters bigger, but come on, just looking at them makes me hungrier! A little tip for those who still have a bit of room in their stomach, take a peek at the desserts; those fritters with Nutella are straight out of Danteās Inferno!
